In INNATE we develop solutions that promote Public Administration, Local and Central, empowerment and modernization by applying new innovation and experimentation models, for improving public services’ quality and users’ satisfaction.
Public administration faces several obstacles in their capacity building and modernization: processes and services complexity, barriers to computerization of information and management capabilities, inaccessibility and lack of motivation in public services are the most pressing and serious challenges sector.
Since the challenges are transversely present in Public Administration, a broad range of solutions have been designed, such as electronic identification and integration platforms, new attending models systems and technological infrastructures development and integration, processes reengineering, simplification and dematerialization, transversal platforms creation supporting electronic services provision, identification mechanisms, authentication and electronic signature creation. Considering the strong innovative input inserted in the developed projects, it is possible to carry out experimental activities and pilot projects in the innovative use of technology in public services provision.
